Every once and a while an artist comes along and takes something ordinary or common and then shows it back to us in an extraordinary new way (Andy Warhol comes to mind). Artist Bryan Nash Gill (1961-2013) was one of those kind of artists. Below is a sample of his beautiful woodcut prints - made from the captivating cross sections of found tree trunks.
